After the degumming, deacidification, and washing processes in palm oil refining, residual trace amounts of moisture can severely affect the storage stability and subsequent processing quality of the oil. Our palm oil-specific drying tanks are designed to efficiently and gently remove trace amounts of moisture from oils. Utilizing the principle of vacuum low-temperature evaporation, it achieves deep drying without damaging the nutritional components of the oil, making it a core piece of equipment for ensuring stable acid values and a clear color in the finished oil.
Core Features
• Vacuum low-temperature drying technology : A high vacuum environment (residual vacuum pressure as low as 4 kPa) is created within a sealed container, causing the moisture in the oil to rapidly vaporize and be removed at a low temperature of 85℃~100℃. Compared to traditional high-temperature drying, this significantly reduces the risk of oil oxidation.
• High-efficiency thin-film evaporation design : Equipped with a dedicated stainless steel nozzle and film distributor (or employing a double-cone rotary structure), it evenly distributes the grease into an extremely thin liquid film or continuously agitates it under vacuum. This greatly increases the surface area for moisture evaporation, ensuring uniform drying without any dead spots.
• Integrated drying and temporary storage : Utilizing a vertical upper head and lower conical structure, it integrates drying and temporary storage functions. The dried grease can be directly cooled to below 70°C inside the tank before proceeding to the next process or filling, effectively preventing secondary moisture absorption.
• Intelligent temperature control and sealing : Equipped with a PLC intelligent temperature control system, it precisely controls the drying temperature and vacuum level. The fully enclosed stainless steel welded structure, along with a sanitary quick-opening interface and mechanical seal, prevents the ingress of outside air and impurities.
Product Advantages
• Excellent oil quality : Low-temperature rapid dehydration effectively preserves beneficial trace components such as tocopherols in palm oil, prevents oil deterioration caused by high temperature, and ensures that the finished oil is bright in color, has a stable acid value, and a longer shelf life.
• Energy-efficient, high-performance, and environmentally friendly : The optimized vacuum and heating system boasts high thermal energy utilization, reducing energy consumption by more than 30% compared to traditional equipment. The accompanying condensation recovery unit can recover evaporated water and solvents, achieving clean production.
• Stable operation and easy maintenance : The equipment has a reasonable structural design, eliminating the risk of internal blockage and scaling. Fully automatic operation reduces manual intervention; daily maintenance only requires periodic cleaning of the tank, making it extremely convenient and worry-free.
